Documentation

Documentation.

Setup, detection, testing, rollout.

How to set up wiretrip, how detection works, and how to test it before going live.

Setup time: 30 seconds
Default mode: log only
Rollout: test first
Start here

Start here

Run /wiretrip setup, pick a log channel, choose a preset (Chill, Moderate, or Strict). That's it. Add canary channels or exempt roles later if you need them.

How it works

How it works

Wiretrip watches timing between events. If someone types in two channels within 150ms (impossible for a human), they get flagged. Also catches ghost typing and channel sequence patterns.

Test before rollout

Test before rollout

Use /wiretrip test to post a fake detection. Use /wiretrip demo to see all outcome types. Start in Log mode and watch what it catches before enabling enforcement.

Go live

Go live

Once you trust what it flags, switch to Timeout or Enforce. Keep exempt roles for your mod team. Check /wiretrip history to review past detections.

Why docs are short

The bot is simple. The docs should be too.

If you need a wiki to understand a moderation bot, something went wrong. These pages cover setup, detection, and rollout. Nothing more.

Good order

Configure setup
Read the scoring model
Test the detector
Roll out in review mode
