How does Wiretrip catch self-bots without reading messages?

A self-bot fires HTTP requests to Discord in parallel and acts in single-digit milliseconds. A real person needs roughly 300-500 milliseconds just to switch focus between two channels. Wiretrip subscribes to the gateway events Discord already broadcasts (typing, messages, cross-channel activity) and correlates their timing in real time. When activity from one account looks physically impossible, Wiretrip flags it. No message content is ever requested or read.

Does Wiretrip read my messages?

No. Wiretrip does not request the MESSAGE_CONTENT privileged intent. Discord does not send message text to the bot, so it cannot read your messages even if it wanted to. Detection is based on behavioral metadata only, never on what was said.
