1. Overview
Wiretrip (Discord Application ID: 1503878409934340197) is a detection bot that watches behavioral metadata – not message content. This policy explains what data we collect and how long we keep it.
2. What Wiretrip Is
A security bot that catches selfbots and automated spam accounts by analyzing timing patterns and cross-channel behavior. It does not read messages.
3. Data We Collect
Discord gateway metadata
This includes TYPING_START events, channel IDs, and user IDs (Snowflakes).
Correlation data
Timing deltas between events across different channels to measure multitasking speed.
Account metadata
Information derived from public Discord IDs, such as account age.
Detection logs
Scores assigned to specific behaviors, detection outcomes, and canary-channel hits.
4. What We Do Not Collect
Wiretrip is intentionally designed to avoid intrusive data collection. We do not request or use the following privileged data surfaces.
5. How Data Is Used
We use the collected metadata exclusively for bot detection, service operation, security, and safety. We do not sell user data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We store operational and detection data only as long as necessary. Detection logs and event metadata are stored for 90 days before being automatically purged. Configuration data is stored until the bot is removed from the server.
7. Legal and Security
Data is stored on servers located in Poland. We implement industry-standard technical measures to protect your data. We transmit actions back to Discord as part of our core function.
