Wiretrip works on timing metadata, not message content. What we collect, what we don't, and how long we keep it.
1. Overview
Wiretrip (Discord Application ID: 1503878409934340197) is a detection bot that watches behavioral metadata, not message content. This policy explains what data we collect and how long we keep it.
2. What Wiretrip Is
A security bot that catches selfbots and automated spam accounts by analyzing timing patterns and cross-channel behavior. It does not read messages.
3. Data We Collect
We collect the minimum metadata needed to detect automation: Discord gateway events (TYPING_START events, channel IDs, and user IDs), timing deltas between events across channels, account metadata derived from public Discord IDs such as account age, and detection logs (scores, outcomes, and canary-channel hits).
4. What We Do Not Collect
No message content. Wiretrip does not request the message-content intent, the guild-members intent, or presence data, and it does no machine-learning profiling of users. No message text is read or stored.
5. How Data Is Used
Collected metadata is used for bot detection, service operation, security, and safety. We do not sell user data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
How long data is kept depends on the server's plan. Free: 30 days of detections and 7 days of incidents. Pro: 365 days of detections and 90 days of incidents. Max: no automatic pruning. Old rows are pruned daily. Configuration data is kept until the bot is removed from the server.
7. Legal and Security
Data is stored on servers in Poland. Access is limited to the operators. Enforcement actions are sent back to Discord as part of the bot's function.
8. Contact
For questions about this policy or data requests, contact the developers through the official Wiretrip Discord support server.
